Tovah Chosen as the Featured Author at the Historic Detroit Jewish Book Fair
Saturday, December 5, 2020 Tovah will be acting parts of LILYVILLE, her first memoir, and answering questions about what inspired her to write about her 60+ year relationship with her mother, Lily, who lived till over 103 for better or for exasperation. During the more than six decades that Lily and Tovah were figuring themselves out, expectations for women were transformed again and again by the women’s movement, the sexual revolution, and the subsequent mandate for women to “have it all.”
